If God didn’t want us to eat animals, He wouldn’t have made ’em out of meat.

We continue through our Bumper Sticker Theology sermon series. The bumper sticker we’ll be considering this week is the one that reads, “If God didn’t want us to eat animals, He wouldn’t have made ’em out of meat.”

Our sermon text for this sticker is Genesis 9:1-7. Here are some questions for consideration as you prepare for this Sunday’s worship.

1. Did men eat animals prior to the flood. What evidence do you have support your answer?

2. When did God first define clean and unclean animals?

3. Is meat eating a requirement of the dominion mandate? In other words, does the dominion mandate require that we eat meat?

4. What reasons do people give today for maintaining a vegetarian/vegan diet? Are any of these reasons sinful?

5. What restrictions does God place upon the consumption of meat?
